We don't believe in one-size-fits-all worksheets or cookie-cutter lesson plans. Every student who walks through our virtual doors gets a tutor who takes the time to understand how they think, where they're stuck, and what makes learning click for them.

Meet Danielle

Danielle Carter spent eight years as a middle school math and science teacher — and she loved every minute of it. But she kept running into the same problem: students who were perfectly smart, perfectly capable, and completely convinced they "just weren't good at" whatever subject was giving them trouble. The classroom couldn't give her enough time to reach every one of them the way they needed. So she built something that could.

The Digital Classroom started as a handful of after-school tutoring sessions from her dining room table. Today, it's a small team of passionate, vetted educators who serve students across the country — from kindergarten readiness all the way through high school test prep. Danielle still tutors students directly (she'll never give that up), and she personally trains every tutor on the team to lead with patience, curiosity, and the belief that every student can get there.

Mina Kim

Elementary Literacy Specialist | Grades K–4

Mina spent six years teaching first and second grade in Atlanta public schools before transitioning to private tutoring — and she brought every classroom strategy she'd ever developed with her. She specializes in early reading and foundational writing skills, with a particular gift for making reluctant readers feel like reading is actually for them. Mina uses a multisensory approach that works especially well for students who've struggled with traditional phonics instruction.

Jordan Ellis

High School Math & Test Prep Specialist | Grades 9–12

Jordan has a background in mechanical engineering and discovered a passion for teaching when he started volunteering as a math tutor during college. He never looked back. He specializes in algebra through calculus and has helped dozens of students dramatically improve their SAT and ACT math scores through a no-panic, strategy-first approach. Jordan has a talent for breaking down complex problems into steps that actually make sense — and for convincing students who "hate math" that they've just never had it explained the right way.

Sofia Reyes

Middle School Science & Social Studies Specialist | Grades 5–8

Sofia taught middle school science for five years before realizing her favorite part of the job was the one-on-one conversations with students who were just starting to wonder how the world worked. She now channels that curiosity-first energy into virtual tutoring sessions that feel more like investigations than lessons. She covers life science, earth science, physical science, and U.S. and world history — and has a particular soft spot for the students who ask too many questions.
