Make This Summer the One That Actually Changes Things

Summer slide is real. But so is summer momentum — for the right student, with the right support.

The Digital Classroom's Summer Learning Intensives are focused, small-group virtual programs designed to help K–12 students get ahead, catch up, or dive deep into something they've always wanted to learn.

No busy work. No boredom. Just real progress in a short amount of time.

How Our Summer Intensives Work

1. Choose Your Program

Browse the intensives below and pick the one that fits your student's goals — whether they need to catch up, get ahead, or explore something brand new.

2. Secure Your Spot

Enrollment is limited to keep groups small and sessions personal. Click Enroll Now on your program of choice to reserve your student's place.

3. Show Up and Grow

Students attend live virtual sessions with their cohort each week. Parents receive a brief progress note at the end of each week so you always know what's happening.

Grades 6–12 | 2-Week Program

Artificial intelligence isn't going anywhere — and students who understand how it works will have a real advantage in school and beyond. This intensive introduces students to the fundamentals of coding and AI literacy in a hands-on, project-based format. No prior experience needed. Just curiosity.

What's included:

  • 8 live virtual sessions over 2 weeks

  • Intro to coding concepts using beginner-friendly tools

  • Understanding how AI works and how to use it responsibly

  • A completed mini-project to show off by the end of the program

  • Weekly parent progress note

IELTS Test Prep Intensive

Ages 16+ | 3-Week Program

The IELTS exam opens doors — to international universities, professional certifications, and immigration pathways. But it's a specific test that rewards specific preparation. This intensive is designed for students and adults who want to walk into test day feeling genuinely ready, not just hopeful.

What's included:

  • 12 live virtual sessions over 3 weeks

  • Full coverage of all four IELTS components: Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking

  • Practice tests with scored feedback

  • Personalized strategies for your target band score

  • Weekly parent or student progress update

Best for: High school students applying to international universities, adults pursuing professional English certification, and anyone who wants a structured, supported path to their target score.

Looking to get formally certified to teach IELTS prep yourself? The TEFL Institute of Ireland offers an IELTS Exam Preparation course (affiliate link) I completed myself — and it's a great way to differentiate yourself and charge higher rates as a tutor.

What Families Are Saying About Our Programs

"My daughter did the summer intensive last year before starting 7th grade and came back to school noticeably more confident. Her teacher even mentioned it at the first parent-teacher conference. Worth every penny."

Sandra M.

Parent of a 7th Grader

"My son had been saying he wanted to learn coding for two years and I never knew where to start. The AI and Coding Intensive gave him a real foundation — and he hasn't stopped talking about it since."
